My name is Ibrahim Adeniran, a dedicated PhD Candidate in the Department of Land Surveying and Geoinformatics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, focusing on mitigating the effects of climate change through remote sensing and machine learning techniques. My research interests revolve around addressing issues related to the urban thermal environment, urban vegetation research, and coastal environment management.
Proficient in utilizing data from thermal infrared sensors on both sun-synchronized and polar satellites, I specialize in the modeling of land surface temperature and near-surface temperature. I also excels in integrating data from visible and near-infrared sensors to model urban vegetation.
With expertise in GIS, SNAP, ENVI, and other relevant software, I can effectively processes remotely sensed data. In addition, I am skilled in Python for developing algorithms and constructing machine learning models. Also, I can utilize Java for Google Earth Engine and proficiently visualize and present data using Tableau.
